With a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years The Lakes Quartet is well known for the quality of its playing, the variety and breadth of their repertoire, and the professional and friendly service they offer.
All the players are professional musicians whose wide experience includes work with many of the major national and regional orchestras.
The Lakes Quartet performs frequently at weddings and civil ceremonies, and has played at a wide variety of corporate events and private functions such as garden and birthday parties, fashion shows and antique fairs.
The Quartet plays regularly at prestigious venues throughout the Lake District and the North of England, including Broadoaks Country House Hotel, Langdale Chase Hotel, Cragwood Country House Hotel, Storrs Hall, Muncaster Castle, Askham Hall, Armathwaite Hall, Netherwood Hotel, Gilpin Lodge and Lake House, Merewood Country House Hotel, Abbey House Hotel and many others.The players can also be booked to play further afield for special occasions, the quartet has played for private celebrations at the House of Lords.
Live music is the perfect way to create a very special atmosphere, and adds elegance to any occasion. The Lakes Quartet is very flexible, and happy to play inside or outdoors, in a variety of settings from steamboats to castles and marquees.
